Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join an established logistics operation in the Selby area.
The role involves nationwide deliveries, including trunking and multi-drop work, with regular overnight stays during the working week.
You will operate a Class 1 vehicle safely, complete deliveries within schedule, and maintain professional standards when dealing with customers and delivery sites.
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle on nationwide delivery routes.
Complete trunking and multi-drop work as required.
Deliver goods accurately and within agreed timeframes.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations.
Secure loads correctly before and during each journey.
Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Maintain clear communication with transport planners and customers.
Follow all site, health, and safety procedures.
Represent the business professionally at all times.
Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
Driver CPC qualification.
Digital tachograph card.
Previous experience driving articulated vehicles.
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
Willingness to complete up to five nights out per week when required.
ADR qualification is preferred.
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
This vacancy would suit candidates with previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV C+E Driver , tramper driver, trunking driver, nationwide delivery driver, or multi-drop articulated vehicle driver.
